01 Jaipur Arrival Upon arrival in Jaipur- the pink city of
Rajasthan, our Executive will meet you at the Airport / Railway Station followed
by transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel. Day
02 In Jaipur Day at Leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel. Day
03 Jaipur/Agra (230KMS/07HRS) Morning drive to Agra the city
of Taj. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri – one of the beautiful forts built by “Akbar”
the Great which is now a deserted city. Upon arrival in Agra check in into hotel.
Evening at Leisure. Overnight at hotel. Day
04 In Agra Morning visit the Taj Mahal, regarded as one of
the Wonders of the World, built by Emperor Shahjahan in pure white marble in memory
of his beloved Mumtaz Mahal. Afternoon visit the massive Agra Fort, which has
been the seat of Mughal rulers for several years. The fort has palaces with pavilions,
gardens, mosques, baths etc. After that visit Itmad-ud-daula or also known as
Baby Taj on the other side of river Yamuna. Overnight at hotel. Day
05 Agra/Orchha (250KMS/06HRS) Morning drive to Orchha , situated
on the banks of the Betwa River. This medieval city is famous for the palace and
temples built by Bundela rulers in the 16 th and 17 th centuries. Upon arrival
check in into hotel. Evening visit Raja Ram Temple & discover the delights
of Orchha. Overnight at hotel. Day 06 Orchha/Khajuraho
(170KMS/04HRS) Morning drive to Khajuraho. Upon arrival check
in into hotel. Rest of the day at Leisure.; Overnight at Hotel. Day
07 In Khajuraho Morning sightseeing tour of Western Group
of Temple. It is here that life in every form and mood has been captured in stone,
testifying not only to the craftsman's artistry but also to the extraordinary
breadth of vision of the Chandela Rajputs. The afternoon is free to further explore
the temples or the local village. Overnight at hotel. Day
08 Khajuraho/Allahabad (290KMS/07HRS) Morning drive to Allahabad.
A pleasant city and a major pilgrimage centre for Hindus. Allahabad has a Sangam
(also referred to as ‘Prayag', which means confluence) where three rivers (Yamuna,
Ganges and Saraswati) meet. A dip at Sangam is believed to cleans one of all their
sins. Upon arrival Check in into hotel. Overnight at hotel. Day
09 Allahabad/Varanasi (125KMS/03HRS) Morning drive Varanasi.
The holiest Hindu pilgrimage in India and one of the oldest living cities in the
world. Upon arrival transfer to hotel & Check in. Evening at Leisure. Overnight
at hotel. Day 10 In Varanasi
O/N train to Delhi (Shiv Ganga Express 1845/0745HRS) Morning
boat ride on the Ganges to view the sunrise and to see the rituals that take place
along the ghats (waterside steps). This will probably be one of the most intense
moments and most extraordinary experiences of the tour, and as the old saying
goes, there is no parallel to the dawn at Benares. After free to explore by your
own and can also visit the temples. In time transfer to railway station to board
the overnight train to Delhi. Day
11 In Delhi Upon arrival in Delhi station transfer to hotel
& check in into hotel. sightseeing of New Delhi where you visit the mighty
Qutub Minar, the unique lotus shaped Bahai Temple, Humayuns Tomb, India Gate and
Sikh Temple at Bangla Sahib. Afternoon visit Old Delhi with visit to Raj Ghat:
the mausoleum of Mahatma Gandhi followed by visit to Mughal monuments of Red Fort
and Jama Masjid. Overnight at hotel. |
