popularly known as Pink City is the capital city of the state of Rajasthan . The
Royal city of Jaipur is on popular North Indian tourist circuit known as Golden
Triangle (Delhi- Jaipur- Agra). It is located 300 km south-west of Delhi and 200
km west of Agra . The city of Jaipur is partially encircled with seven gates,
the major gates are Chandpol, Ajmeri and Sanganeri. Jaipur is a delight for traveler.
It is an extremely colourful city, and in the evening light, the pink buildings
acheives a magical charm, which is complemented by the vibrantly attired Rajasthani
men and women. Carts drawn by camel are characteristic of Jaipur's passing street
scene. The city is also known for its exquisite jewellery. The Suranas (a particular
caste known for jewellery artwork) are master craftsmen in gold, silver and engraved

The city owes its name,
its foundations and its careful planning, to the great warrior and astronomer
Maharaja Jai Singh II. His predecessors had enjoyed good relations with the Mughals,
and Jai Singh properly cultivated the strong alliance by building some magnificient
buildings in Jaipur and Delhi. Jaipur
has many heritage locations including the famous Hawa Mahal, City Palace and Amber
Fort. It is the most happening location on tourist circuit of Noth India. Luxurious
palace hotels, havelis and lodges are in abundance. Tours covering Delhi , Agra
